Now that we tried it out i can make a short summary of all the changes to the original concept.

Required Certifications

Required: Mosquito
Recommended: adv Medic or adv Hacker
Appreciated: Anti Vehicular
Appreciated: Rexo
Appreciated: Ground Transport

Required Implants

Required: Surge

Transport

Mosquito and Thunderer/Deliverer

Squad Size

5 guys per squad (every squad uses his own channel)
3 squads per platoon (every member has a macro to talk to all 3 squads)

we use squads of 5 because it is allmost impossible to keep 10 guys close together.

TS

Set keys 'switch to channel' Commando Team 1, Commando Team 2, Commando Team 3 and [RL] Renegade Legion (4 different keys)
Set key 'whisper to channel list Commando Team 1, Commando Team 2, Commando Team 3' (all in one key: talk to all commandos)

General Rules (only a rough proposal)

Stick together
Stay in formation and dont rush for the kill
Do not dance from left to right and block all others line of fire
Stay back and beat the enemy with crossfire
Hug the outer walls if you move
Pass behind squad members and dont block their fire arc
The last 2 squad members walk backwards and watch the back

The squad is 100% independant of Techplants and Dropshipcenters.
No need to recall and fill gals and no fear of poplocks.
Mosquitos serve as a fast transport if we are in a hurry and if we need the punch we take Thunderers (the 2 passenger should carry AV and MA and jump out if engaged by enemies).
Usually we fly around in mosqs and do fast resecure stuff (e.g. drop backdoor, rush to a terminal, hack out rexo's/max's, harass the base)
but we also do a fair share of thunderer carnage.

This squad is no more an attempt to use MA only.
Instead we gonna make best use of what we NC have.
Jackhammer/Thumper for indoor fights and Gauss/AV for outdoor fights.
It takes only 3 phoenix missiles to kill a mosquito and 4 to kill a reaver so coordinated phoenix fire is awesome, not to mention how deadly 5 gauss rifles are in outdoor fights.

To sum it up: Everyone is welcome to join this squad. All you need is mosquito and the TS keybindings.
Have fun and happy hunting !

Appendix

ok we tried this a few times
but we have to work on some things.

1st) we have to enforce the 5 guys per squad and ts channel.
the more in one squad the harder it is to stick together.

2nd) only invite people to this squad who are really interested and have read this post.
this may sound harsh but people who dont even care to read this will only reduce our effectiveness.

one more thing:
usually we use our aircrafts because its the fastest thing.
thunds are the backup solution but usually if we cant use mosqs/reavers we wont be able to drive to a base in thunds, jump out and rush inside cause there are too many mines and enemies.
so usually we tend to drive to a base and attack the enemy with our vehicles until we die (cause its suicide to leave the vehicle).

now my question is:
do you prefer vanguards or thunderers for that ?
thunds pack an awesome punch and are really feared + they can transport people but they havnt much armor.
vanguards are also feared, have an ok'ish gun and tons of armor and are lots of fun to drive.
(and dont forget the lightning zerg of doom :P).

the main drawback of vanguards is that a lot more people would have to take that cert (more or less everyone).
on the other hand this would be good cause we had only 2.5 mins timer and people could change gunner and driver seat (so no one is bored).

would you like to have vanguards as an alternative commando car :P
or stick with the thundies
or dont use anything but aircrafts ?

Ok, so i only just worked out this board existed (so this is where Tata posts).

Question: What does the Legion need more at this point; An AA-Flight Variant or another Advanced Medic?
