As we are getting closer and closer to the "magical 40" (level 60s that is), we might as well get started on getting people through the prequests etc.

Thereby not saying I'm expecting us to get wiped for the first time by the big worm next week; but we might as well get started on it, since it does take a while and quite some effort to get done.

The whole thing starts out with "Dragonkin Menace" which you aquire from the Marshal at the south-western NPC camp in Burning Steppes. Kill a bunch of elite dragonkin, then return to the Marshal.

The followup is "The True Masters" - go to Redridge, Stormwind Keep, Redridge, marshal in Burning Steppes, dwarf in Burning Steppes (at the center/north NPC camp) and finally the marshal again. Basically just a ride/fly-all-over-the-place type waste-of-time quest.

The followup from that is the first part of the "Marshal Windsor" questline, which takes place in Blackrock Depths.
That questline is annoying at the least ...
1) find and speak to Marshal Windsor. He is in a cell in the east-most of the two prison corridors. You get the key from the troll boss in the room down south (where the two prison corridors meet).
Windsor basically just says that blah blah blah, all is lost, I'm not moving, blah blah. You then have to go back and speak to the Marshal in Burning Steppes. This is where the quest line seems go end.

2) you now need to find a note, which is a random drop from any mob in BRD. The droprate is pretty decent, so it's usually possible to get it while doing Bael'gar, so you can double back and go speak to Windsor again after.

3) Windsor then wants you two find some lost information. To do this, you need to get into the western part of the instance (the path towards the inn, not the path over the arena).
To get into the western path, someone in group needs to have the "shadowforge key", which is the reward to the "Ironfel" questline (taking place in the eastern part of the instance).
The first piece of information drops from The General, the second from Golemmaster Angelmar. Once you have both pieces, you can go back and speak to Windsor to start the escort.

4) You now need to do the escort. I very much recommend clearing out the escort route first:
From Marshal Windsor's cell, south down corridor, round the bend and back up north again along the west-most prison corridor. Straight across the central cave and into the hallway going west around the arena. Follow the hallway in a circle around the arena and back out into the central cave. From there, he runs straight to the instance exit where escort is completed.
With everything cleared out, get to Windsor. Make sure that everyone who needs the quest in the group are at the point where they have the "Jail Break" quest offered, and just need to click accept.

The next part takes place in Stormwind. Go to Elwynn forest, and ride up and down the road leading into the castle. Windsor should pop out of nowhere on his horse, so you can follow him. The next 20 minutes you're just walking behind Windsor, enjoying the show. Finally, there's the fight in Stormwind Keep (Lord Fourdragon vs Onyxia's elite guards). Tip: stand back, do nothing, enjoy the show. Fourdragon does a pretty good Mista T impersonation on those dragonkin :P

After that, there's some running around town speaking to people.
That's where I am now, so the rest is hear-say :)

Then you get to the point where you need to speak to some unknown dragon somewhere. That unknown dragon is "Haleh", in her cave in central winterspring (southwestish of Everlook). You'll have to either stealth it, take off your gear and corpse-run it, or bring a group and fight your way through. I vote for option 3 because it's most fun =)

Then, finally, you need to get "blood of the dragon" from General Drakkissath, the end level baddie in Upper Blackrock Spire. He only drops 1~3 blood per kill, so it'll probably take about ~25 runs before we have 40 of 'em.

Afaik, that's it (you probably have to speak to Haleh after aquiring the blood, though).

I went to Haleh on that UBRS quest that you get the blue whelpling there and all I basically needed was Feign Death (4tw!). Well okay I died once but it was fun :P

Anyways I'm up for BRD runs any hour of the day unless already in another instance, got some quests left there as well; I'm on the quest where you need to kill the Golem Lord and General and then take the information to Windsor in his cell.

I need to do this quest, have the first part.. So yeah, I am up for it :)

And I saw the SW fight, one priest "soloed" it. Basically, the Bolvar Fordragon does the clean work there. Priest only slapped some buffs on him before the fight, and during the fight used some 'heals over time' and couple direct heals. Good ol' Bolvar kicked the butt of them all. Most deaths were that of the various newbies, who ran in and thought to "lend a hand" to ol' Bolvar... Well, first attack from the dragonkin, which hits many targets at once, wiped out all of those newbies.

Heh, Bolvar doesn't need any healing/buffs. He goes "down" to about 70% health during the whole fight with no help whatsoever :)

I am done up to the point where I need to go to BRD, so if some groups are heading there to do this quest, I know one lvl 60 paladin who would join as well :D

I need to get into BRD too now.

Currently there is a bug (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general&t=2827907&s=blizzard&tmp=1#blizzard) with Highlord Bolvar - he despawns after the battle whether it was completed or not and is on a 4-5 hour timer.

Sadly it won't get fixed until the next patch.

And here is a rather amusing cookie cutter response from a GM on the US server :D

I've talked with a GM the other night, he told me that Balvor was working as intended and suggested me to ask on the suggestion forum for a shorted respawn time.

It seems Blizz aren't very good at letting the GM team know what the current problems are...
